November 2021 Statistics
Gearing down for the holidays the number of active listings is nearing 1,100 listings which based on the sales in November is only 2 months of inventory which continues to put the market in much of a seller's market as demand appears to not have dropped off yet, and I am not sure we will see demand drop off this year. The sales are being held back by the amount of inventory out there for buyers. Normally December we see listings and demand to continue to drop off, not sure if this year will be different or not especially with the highway closed from Vancouver, this is something to continue to watch.
537 total sales in November (Down from 568 sales in October and the November historic 5-year average is 441 sales.)
1149 total active listings which is down from 1298 in October compared to the 5 year average of 2,129 listings for November we are sitting at 53% of the average amount of listings for this time of year.
November median days to sell was 23 where the 5 year average as 43 days. The average days to sell was 41 which is compared to the 5-year average at 66 which continues to signal strong demand and motivation of buyers and sellers.
